My mini gallery: A few of my pieces of my art
I have been creating art ever since I was three. Art has become an essential apart of my day. Whether or not it has been learning about new artists or creating my own art it has been a constant source of comfort for me. This is why it is so important for me to share my art with you all.
This piece is titled "Depression Obsession". This is made from marker, colored pencil, fine point pen, and hot glue. This piece is about how pervasive depression can become when it is ignored. The colors in the person's face are fading out. This is supposed to represent how depression has a deteriorates a person's mood. The hot glue is a three-dimensional aspect of this piece that represents how depression is not just a one-dimensional issue it is complex and steps should be taken to understand it's intricacies.
This piece is titled "Exhale."` This is a collage that includes paint, colored paper, and magazine cut-outs. This piece is about the need to exhale amongst one's struggles and life's daily complications.
This piece is titled "Expedition". This is about my journey through life. The materials for this piece are yarn, painted paper, marker, chalk, and colored pencil. The black and white represent the unknown parts of my life and the person represents my willingness to navigate things that are unfamiliar to me.
